UNITED PLASTICS GROUP, INC. ACQUIRES OR PLASTICS, INC.

WESTMONT, IL – June 5, 2000 --- United Plastics Group, Inc., a full service manufacturer of plastic products for the electronics, medical, consumer, and industrial markets, today announced the acquisition of OR Plastics, Inc. of Brooksville, FL. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

"With this acquisition, we continue to assemble a balanced network of locations that will provide products and services to our core group of strategic partners to support their supply chain requirements," said William J. Kriss, President and CEO of United Plastics Group, Inc. "This acquisition is the first of several that we intend to accomplish in 2000 in support of our customers’ global reach."

Headquartered in Brooksville, FL, OR Plastics is a fully integrated custom injection molder of a broad range of products and value-added assemblies. OR Plastics was founded in Vandergrift, PA in 1977 by the late John Okopal and his wife, Darlene. In 1988, OR Plastics migrated to Brooksville where it continued to grow through several expansions.
