United Plastics Group, Inc. Demonstrates Stress-Free
Global Manufacturing Capabilities
Life Size Zen Garden Exhibit Allows Visitors To
Rake Away Stress
WESTMONT, IL - March 5, 2001 - United Plastics Group,
Inc. (UPG), a full service manufacturer of plastic products
for the electronics, medical, consumer and industrial/automotive
markets, will demonstrate their "stress-free manufacturing
zone" to those attendees visiting their booth #6766
during the National Design and Engineering Show (NDES)
in Chicago March 5-8, 2001. UPG's booth contains a life-size
version of a traditional Zen garden to illustrate their
stress-free approach to contract manufacturing.
"There are so many issues that product engineers
and managers face when rolling out an entire product
program," explains William J. Kriss, president
and CEO of United Plastics Group, Inc. "The Zen
Garden within our booth encourages these people to surrender
their 'product program stress' to UPG who will act as
their manufacturing 'oasis of peace'."
UPG has vast experience servicing many high profile
companies with their global contract manufacturing expertise
such as Dell, Compaq, Motorola, Ericcson and Nortel.
"We understand that seamless worldwide transfer
of technologies and programs, such as mold building,
injection molding, and micro molding, is absolutely
critical in mass production," continues Kriss.
"We are continually enhancing our global capabilities
through strategic alliances and acquisitions, as well
as through process technology initiatives."
